200 Morning Challenge Questions - EYFS and Key Stage One

(1)
Get your class thinking and talking every morning with 200 fun challenges! Simply put up a slide from the PowerPoint show each day, ready for the children to look at as they come in to the classroom. Ask the children to use their imaginations, tackle design challenges and consider the properties of different materials. Example questions: Imagine that you have found a magic ticket. What could you use it for? How many things can you think of that are spotty? Can you design a new kit for a football player? Who do you think each pair of shoes belongs to? Make a list of things that roll. Younger children could draw pictures to show their ideas while older children can write lists and sentences. Also included is a grid showing the key learning objectives that will be covered for each year group. The Year 1 and 2 objectives are taken from the 2014 National Curriculum.
